At 10:10 a.m., IRCTC’s share price is 6812, nearly 1.21% higher than the previous close. And 1.2% higher than its opening rate. According to the reports and estimates on Money Control, the current market capitalization shows 54,608 cores; the UC Limit is 741.20, and the LC Limit is 606.50. 

Company Financials

IRCTC disclosed its third-quarter financials on February 11th. The data reported a net profit of Rs. 341.08 crore, a 13.69% increase from ₹299.99 crore in the same period last year. The company’s revenue from operations grew by 9.7% year-on-year to Rs.1,224.65 crore, up from ₹1,115.48 crore. 

The IRCTC board announced a second interim dividend of Rs 3 per equity share for the financial year 2024-25. The date for this dividend is set for February 20th, 2025.

  • In March 2025, the Government of India upgraded IRCTC to ‘Navratna’ status. This upgrade allows IRCTC greater financial autonomy.
  • IRCTC is now allowed to invest up to Rs. 1,000 crore without prior government approval.
