HPCL announced its third-quarter financial statements on January 23rd. According to these reports, The company’s revenue from operations resulted in a profit of Rs. 1,18,936 crore. This marked a slight increase from Rs. 1,18,443 crore in the same period last year. HPCL’s Standalone Profit After Tax was Rs. 3,023 crore, a substantial growth compared to Rs. 529 crore in Q3 FY2023-24. HPCL also reported a consolidated net profit of Rs. 2,543.65 crore, up from Rs. 142.67 crore in the previous quarter.

  • To meet the increasing fuel demand, In February 2025, HPCL announced plans to increase the capacity of its Visakhapatnam (Vizag) refinery by up to 20%.
  • To improve vehicle performance and reduce emissions, On March 5th, 2025, HPCL and Tata Motors collaborated to launch ‘Genuine DEF’ (Diesel Exhaust Fuel). 
  • By December this year, HPCL plans to fully commission its refinery-cum-petrochemicals complex in Barmer, Rajasthan.
