As of today, 13th March 2025, Bharat Electronics Ltd experienced a surge since the opening bell. This surge in trade follows the announcement of a deal BEL signed with Ashwani Radars, which BEL received from the Indian Air Force. 

In an exchange filing, BEL said, “Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, Bharat Electronics Limited, has signed a contract with the Ministry of Defence valued at Rs.2,463 Crore (excluding taxes).”

Bharat Electronics opened its shares to the market at Rs. 283.00 and are currently up by 2.2% compared to the previous session’s close, 276.83. 

BEL Share Price in Today’s Market

At 10:45 a.m., BEL sold their shares for 284.21 a piece, nearly 0.4% higher than the opening rate. And 2.6% higher than its previous close. According to the reports and estimates on Money Control, the current market capitalisation shows 207,605 cores; the UC Limit is 304.51, and the LC Limit is 249.4.

Bharat Electronics is a leading electronics company under The Ministry Of Defence. The company released its third-quarter financials on 2nd February. As per the reports. The company’s Profit After Tax recorded Rs. 1,316.06 crore, indicating a 47.3% increase compared to Rs. 893.30 crore in the previous year’s third quarter. 

The revenue from operations stood at Rs. 5,770.69 crores, reflecting a 38.6% growth from Rs. 4,162.16 crores in the last Q3.
