Tata Steel Share Price in The Market Today

As of today, the Tata Steel Share Price is at Rs 168.32. That is 0.30% down already. The current UC limit is at Rs 185.70 and the LC limit is at Rs 151.93. The total market capitalization of the company stands around Rs 209,973 crores.

Company Financials

Tata Steel has released its Q1 results. It shows total income was down by 2.91% to Rs 53178.12 Crores. Whereas, Operating profits have jumped 19.53% to Rs 4540.66 cr, and profit after tax has increased by 116.51% to Rs 2077.68 crores. Also, operating margins have jumped 23.11% in the first quarter. All these figures are in a YoY basis.

Recent News About Tata Steel

  • Tata Steel signed an MoU with IIT Bhubaneswar and India Accelerator to launch the “TomorrowLAB Accelerator Programme” for emerging startups.
  • The company has received the prestigious R&D 100 Award for developing API X65 grade pipes, a major innovation for hydrogen transportation projects.
  • Tata Steel has announced a Rs 303.13 crore bonus payout to employees for FY24-25. This shows the company’s strength and commitment towards its workforce’s welfare.

Tata Steel Share Target Price

As one of the popular companies, Tata Steel Shares have multiple target prices available from analysts and institutions. FIGW suggests a target price of Rs 190. Morgan Stanley maintained a target of Rs 200. However, the Consensus analyst suggests a target of Rs 169.43, which is already achieved.

Recommendation on Buy or Sell

According to the Moneycontrol website, 48% of the analysts suggest buying Tata Steel Shares. The remaining 24% suggest holding, and 14% suggest selling. On the other hand, Consensus analysts suggest buying these shares on the Trendlyne platform.
