Showroom B2B Raises $17 Million to Digitize India’s Apparel Manufacturing and Supply Chain

Showroom B2B has raised $17 million (about ₹150 crore) in a mix of equity and debt to bolster its tech-enabled apparel manufacturing platform, expand factory capacity across India, and upgrade backend systems that streamline design-to-delivery supply chains for brands and retailers.

Funding details and investor profile

The round was led by Cactus Partners and saw participation from Zephyr Peacock, Jungle Ventures, Accion Ventures, NBD Ventures, Lighthouse Canton and Alteria Capital. The combined equity and venture-debt structure signals investor confidence in technology-led solutions that address inefficiencies in India’s apparel manufacturing sector.

Addressing a fragmented apparel ecosystem

Founded in 2020 by Abhishek Dua and Shubham Gupta, Showroom B2B provides an end-to-end manufacturing marketplace covering design, sourcing, production and logistics. The platform links organised retailers and domestic and international brands with a network of audited factories, aiming to bring predictability to quality, costs and delivery timelines.

India’s textile and garment industry has long been fragmented, with many small units operating informally. This fragmentation often leads to inconsistent quality, cost overruns and missed deadlines. By standardising processes and enforcing transparent execution metrics, Showroom B2B positions itself as a sourcing partner for enterprises and growing direct‑to‑consumer (D2C) brands alike.

Use of proceeds and operational focus

The fresh capital will be allocated to expanding manufacturing capacity, onboarding more verified factories, enhancing supply‑chain infrastructure and upgrading backend technology. The company also plans to deepen enterprise partnerships to serve value retail chains and emerging fashion labels that demand faster turnarounds and tighter quality control.

Founders say the emphasis is on building a technology‑first manufacturing ecosystem that balances design innovation, cost management and timely delivery—rather than merely increasing volume.

Context: India’s apparel opportunity

India remains a major global player in textiles and apparel exports, but the industry is undergoing structural change as modern retail expands and homegrown brands scale. Faster fashion cycles and rising global demand require more coordinated, technology‑driven supply chains.

Showroom B2B’s funding round reflects broader investor interest in startups digitising traditional sectors. As it scales, the company is expected to play a larger role in organising India’s apparel manufacturing landscape and helping brands achieve more predictable, high‑quality production.
