Renowned couturier Rahil Raza headlined the prime showcase at Jaipur International Runway Fashion Week 2026, unveiling a Royal Couture Collection inspired by Rajasthan’s heritage at the historic Maan Palace. The presentation drew strong industry attention for its craftsmanship, palette, and styling, reinforcing Raza’s positioning in India’s luxury couture space.

The showcase opened with model Nagma, who set the tone for a regal narrative that ran through the line-up. Each subsequent look introduced distinct character work on the runway, aligned with the collection’s royal theme. Alka Jain closed as showstopper in an intricately embellished ensemble, earning sustained applause from the audience.
Raza’s silhouettes emphasised grandeur through rich textiles, hand-embroidery, and architectural drapes. Traditional motifs from Rajasthani courts were reinterpreted with contemporary cuts, creating red carpet–ready and bridal-occasion pieces. The styling integrated heritage jewellery accents, considered make-up, and polished choreography to deliver a cohesive runway story.
Designer intent and reception
Fashion critics at the event noted the balance between tradition and innovation, citing the quality of materials, surface ornamentation, and finishing standards. The label’s treatment of zardozi, gota, and threadwork, paired with modern structure, drew particular praise for elevating classic craft to current couture sensibilities.
“It was an honour to launch Label by Rahil Raza at JIRFW 2026. The response from Jaipur and the energy of the runway have been tremendous. It is a proud moment for RR Tour 2026,” Rahil Raza said after the show.
