Samsung has hiked Galaxy M17 5G and Galaxy F17 5G prices in India yet again. This marks the second price revision for both models in six months. The updated prices are now visible across retail platforms in the country.
Galaxy M17 5G Price Hike Details
The Galaxy M17 5G now costs up to Rs 3,000 more. The 4GB RAM variant is up by Rs 1,000 and now costs Rs 17,999. The 6GB RAM model has risen by Rs 2,000 to Rs 19,999. The 8GB RAM variant carries a Rs 3,000 hike and now sells for Rs 21,999.
Previous Price Hikes on Galaxy M17 5G
The Galaxy M17 5G launched in India in October 2025. In March 2026, Samsung raised the 6GB+128GB model from Rs 15,999 to Rs 16,499. The 8GB+128GB variant moved from Rs 17,499 to Rs 18,499. In May 2026, all three variants reportedly got a Rs 1,000 increase.
Galaxy F17 5G Also Turns Pricier
The Galaxy F17 5G has also received a fresh price hike. Its 6GB RAM model is dearer by Rs 1,000. The 8GB RAM variant has gone up by Rs 2,000. The 4GB+128GB model now costs around Rs 17,999. The 6GB+128GB variant is at Rs 19,999. The 8GB+128GB model is close to Rs 22,999.
Display, Camera and Battery Specs
The Galaxy M17 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. It runs on the Samsung Exynos 1330 processor. A 50MP triple rear camera and a 5,000mAh battery are on board. It also supports 25W fast charging.
The Galaxy F17 5G offers a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Exynos 1330 chipset. Its triple rear camera includes 50MP, 5MP and 2MP sensors. Selfies come from a 13MP front camera. It packs a 5,000mAh battery.
Why Smartphone Prices Keep Rising
Several brands have raised prices across models in 2026. A late-July report flagged possible August hikes for Samsung, Oppo, Realme and Xiaomi. Rising memory costs were cited as the key reason. Samsung advises checking official and e-commerce platforms before buying.
