Jaipur-based healthtech startup Aignosis has raised Rs 4 crore in a seed funding round led by Antler and Nikhil Kamath. Investors including Varun Dua and IIMA Ventures also participated in the round. Aignosis plans to use the funding to expand its AI-assisted autism and developmental screening platform across India. The company is moving from developing and validating its technology towards wider deployment through public and private healthcare networks. Its system is designed to identify children who may need further clinical assessment, not to diagnose autism or other developmental conditions.
Founders and funding history
Raksheet Jain and Divyansh Mangal founded Aignosis, which raised its first funding round in 2024. That round included investors Rajneesh Bhandari and Amit Jain. Co-founder Raksheet Jain said the latest funding marks a shift from building and validating the technology to taking it into the healthcare system at scale. He said the company’s focus is to make autism screening more accessible, strengthen the referral pathway around it, and build a model that works across public and private healthcare settings. The new round is intended to support that expansion.
How the screening system works
Aignosis says its screening system is intended to help identify children who may require further clinical assessment for autism and other developmental concerns. It is designed for children aged between 16 months and nine years, and uses a standard laptop and webcam. During a short video, the child is shown nine stimulus modules. Computer vision technology analyses behavioural signals, including gaze, response to name and reactions to facial expressions. The system then generates a risk report indicating whether further clinical assessment may be required. It does not provide a diagnosis.
Deployment and regulatory status
Aignosis primarily uses what it calls a Clinic-in-Clinic model, deploying the screening technology through paediatricians rather than selling it as a standalone device. The company said it has completed the regulatory process with India’s Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation and received Class B certification for its screening technology. That screening role is distinct from clinical diagnosis: the system produces a risk report to indicate whether further assessment may be needed. The company’s stated expansion plan is to take the technology into public and private healthcare networks, while strengthening the referral pathway around screening.

Accelerator and startup programmes
Aignosis was incubated at IIMA Ventures and selected for Google’s 2025 Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First programme. Google said the startup was one of 20 selected for the cohort from more than 1,600 applications. Aignosis was also selected for BFI VK Connect and participated in a three-week immersion programme in Europe. The platform focuses on screening for possible autism and developmental concerns, areas where a screening result can point to the need for clinical assessment without itself establishing a diagnosis.
