Aquapulse Raises ₹25 Crore Series A from NABVENTURES to Expand Tech-Driven Aquaculture Platform in India

Aquapulse has secured ₹25 crore in a Series A round led by NABVENTURES, reinforcing investor confidence in India’s expanding aquaculture and agritech sectors. The fresh capital arrives as fish and shrimp farming accelerate across coastal and semi-urban regions, driven by rising seafood demand and increased adoption of technology.

Agritech funding to scale operations and tech

The startup will deploy the funds to scale operations, enhance its technology platform and deepen its presence across key aquaculture hubs. Aquapulse aims to make aquaculture more efficient, organised and profitable for farmers by combining digital tools with field support.

A smarter approach for farmers

Founded in 2022 by brothers Abhishek and Abhilash Dwivedy, Aquapulse offers AI-driven solutions and data analytics to help farmers monitor pond conditions, manage disease risk and optimise feed usage. These tools give farmers actionable insights, reducing reliance on traditional experience or guesswork and improving yields while lowering losses.

Building a “pond-to-port” ecosystem

Beyond on-farm support, Aquapulse is expanding services across the post-harvest value chain. The company provides grading, logistics and market-linkage services to connect producers with buyers at fair prices, addressing inefficiencies in the seafood supply chain and helping stabilise farmer incomes.

Sustainability and expansion

With the Series A funding, Aquapulse plans to grow its farmer network nationwide and promote sustainable aquaculture practices. The company’s integrated approach — combining farm-level technology with downstream services — positions it to play a central role in modernising India’s aquaculture sector as consumer demand for seafood rises.
