Today, on 15th April 2025, Bajaj Housing Finance Share Price got a more than 3% surge in its share prices. Today marks the end of the company’s lock-in period. According to Nuvama Alternative and Quantitative, 529.1 crore equity shares of the company will be eligible to trade, and 64% of its outstanding equity can be openly sold and bought in the market.

The promoters of BHFL still own an 88.75% stake in the shares, as reported during the quarter that ended on 31st December 2024. Besides this, BHFL’s update on its fourth quarter business may have also influenced a positive outlook on the company.

Today, BHFL’s shares opened to the market at Rs. 121.00, notably high from 11th A11th’s close of Rs. 119.38. At 11:20 a.m., BHFL’s share price was Rs. 124.76, nearly 4.53% higher than its previous close. According to the reports and estimates on Money Control, the current market capitalization shows 103,926 cores; the UC Limit is 131.31, and the LC Limit is 107.44.

On 27th January 2025, the BHFL released its Q3 FY 24–25 results. For the third quarter, Bajaj Housing Finance posted strong financial results. Compared to Rs. 437 crore during the same period last year, the company’s net profit climbed by 25% year over year to Rs. 548 crore.  From Rs. 1,919.02 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year to Rs. 2,407.63 crore, its total income grew by 25.46%. The loan assets of Bajaj Housing Finance increased by 31% year over year to Rs. 95,570. The net worth of the company was Rs. 19,336 crore.

  • BHFL is scheduled to disclose its fourth-quarter financials on 23rd April. The company provided an update earlier this month.
  • According to the update given by BHFL, the Gross Disbursements increased by 25% to Rs. 14,250 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs. 11,393 crore in Q4 FY24.
  • As of 31st March 2025, the company’s assets under management (AUM) had increased by 26% year over year to Rs. 1,14,680 crore from Rs. 91,370 crore the year before.
  • The loan assets increased by 25% to Rs. 99,500 crore from Rs. 79,301 crore the year before.
