Hyundai Creta has reclaimed the top spot in Hyundai India’s model-wise sales for July 2026. The popular mid-size SUV sold 18,088 units during the month, cementing its position as the company’s best-selling model. Hyundai Motor India posted total domestic sales of 54,210 vehicles in July 2026, a strong 23 percent year-on-year growth from 43,973 units sold in July 2025.
Hyundai Records 37 Percent Month-on-Month Growth
The company’s July performance also marked a 37 percent jump compared to June 2026, when Hyundai sold 39,635 units. Hyundai’s SUV lineup and premium cars continued to drive strong demand across the Indian market. The company’s model-wise sales data revealed significant growth across most of its portfolio. SUVs played a key role in the overall sales momentum during the month.
Hyundai Venue and Exter Deliver Strong Numbers
Hyundai Venue secured the second position with 11,095 units sold, registering a 38 percent year-on-year increase. Hyundai Exter followed in third place with 6,810 units, up 34 percent from July 2025. The Hyundai i20 took the fourth spot with 6,738 units, posting an impressive 98 percent year-on-year growth. These three models together contributed significantly to Hyundai’s overall volume.
Aura and Grand i10 Maintain Steady Sales
Hyundai Aura ranked fifth with 5,817 units sold, a 25 percent year-on-year improvement. The Grand i10 stood sixth with 4,055 units, recording a 14 percent increase over the same period last year. These models continue to find strong buyer interest in the entry-level and compact sedan segments. Hyundai’s balanced portfolio across price points helped sustain the sales momentum.
Alcazar and Verna See Sales Decline
Hyundai Alcazar registered 862 units in July 2026, a 39 percent year-on-year drop. The Hyundai Verna managed just 737 units, down 11 percent from July 2025. The Ioniq 5 electric SUV sold only 8 units, a 68 percent decline from last year. The Hyundai Tucson recorded zero sales during the month. Despite these declines, Hyundai’s overall performance remained strong with SUVs and premium cars driving growth.
