Fashion e-commerce firm Myntra has appointed Pramod Adiddam as its Chief Technology Officer, reinforcing its technology leadership as the company focuses on scale, product innovation and improved customer experience in India’s competitive online fashion market.
Role and reporting
As CTO, Adiddam will define Myntra’s technology vision, lead engineering teams and ensure the platform remains robust, scalable and consumer-centric. He will report directly to CEO Nandita Sinha and will be responsible for aligning technology initiatives with the company’s growth and business objectives.
Relevant experience
Adiddam brings more than two decades of experience building and operating large-scale technology platforms. He has held senior engineering roles at global technology companies, including Google, where he worked on systems designed for millions of users, gaining expertise in scalability, reliability and performance engineering.
He also served as Vice President and Head of Engineering at Instacart, leading teams that powered a high-frequency, consumer-facing commerce platform. That mix of experience at established tech giants and rapidly scaling consumer internet companies is expected to strengthen Myntra’s technology leadership.
Priorities: platform innovation and customer experience
Myntra has been investing steadily in technology to enhance discovery, personalisation, payments, logistics and post-purchase services. With millions of shoppers across India, maintaining fast, reliable and seamless mobile experiences remains central to its strategy—especially as the company expands deeper into tier-II and tier-III cities.
Under Adiddam’s leadership, Myntra plans to bolster platform architecture, data systems and intelligent technologies to better understand consumer preferences and drive personalised experiences across the customer journey.
Leadership transition and strategic context
The appointment follows exits among senior technology leaders and signals Myntra’s intent to build future-ready systems that can handle larger scale while remaining agile. Strengthening the technology backbone is a strategic priority as India’s fashion e-commerce sector grows more competitive, with firms investing in speed, selection and personalisation to differentiate.
Building for the next phase
Against a backdrop of revenue growth and improving profitability, Myntra is focused on long-term technology capabilities that support innovation at scale. As CTO, Adiddam will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s platforms are resilient, secure and equipped to meet evolving consumer expectations, combining local market insight with global technology expertise.
