Fashion e-commerce firm Myntra has appointed Pramod Adiddam as its new Chief Technology Officer, a strategic hire as the company sharpens its technology focus to support scale, innovation and long-term growth in India’s competitive online fashion market.
Role and reporting
As CTO, Adiddam will shape Myntra’s technology vision, lead engineering teams and ensure the platform remains robust, scalable and customer-centric. He will report to CEO Nandita Sinha and is expected to align technology investments closely with the company’s business and growth objectives.
Extensive global engineering experience
Adiddam brings over two decades of experience building and operating large-scale technology platforms. He has held senior engineering leadership roles at global technology companies, including Google, where he worked on systems serving millions of users and gained expertise in scalability, reliability and performance engineering.
He was also Vice President and Head of Engineering at Instacart, leading teams that powered a high-frequency, consumer-facing commerce platform. His background across established tech giants and fast-growing consumer internet companies is anticipated to add depth to Myntra’s technology leadership.
Focus areas: platform, data and intelligent systems
Myntra has been investing in technology to improve discovery, personalisation, payments, logistics and post-purchase experience for millions of shoppers. Under Adiddam’s leadership, the company aims to strengthen platform architecture, data systems and the use of machine intelligence to better understand consumer preferences.
These priorities are especially important as Myntra expands into tier-II and tier-III cities, where application performance, reliability and seamless mobile experiences directly affect customer acquisition and retention.
Leadership transition and strategic intent
The appointment follows the exit of senior technology leaders and signals Myntra’s intent to build future-ready systems that balance scale with agility. In India’s intensely competitive fashion e-commerce sector, technology differentiation on speed, selection and personalisation remains a key driver of market position.
Building technology foundations for growth
With revenue growth and improving profitability trends, Myntra is now emphasising long-term technology capabilities that support innovation at scale. As CTO, Adiddam will be responsible for ensuring the company’s platforms are resilient, secure and capable of meeting evolving consumer expectations across India.
