Tata Steel Share Price is back in the news. The company has recently released its Q1 FY26 results. Today, it has already spike nearly 1%, should you buy, hold or sell? Check company financials, recent news and recommendations.

Tata Steel Share Price in The Market Today

As of today, the Tata Steel Share price is at Rs 158.62. That is 0.82% up already. The current UC limit is at Rs 173.06, and the LC limit is at Rs 141.59. The total market capitalization of the company stands at around Rs 197,839 crores.

Company Financials

The company has recently published its Q1 financial results for FY26. It shows revenue has declined by 5% on a YoY basis. Total revenue was Rs 1244 crores, which was Rs 1269 crores during the same period last year. EBITDA for Q1 FY26 is above Rs 200 Crores, which means margins are at 16.1%. Net profits have increased by 5.11% to Rs 170.28 crores.

  • The company is planning to double its manufacturing capacity to 40 million tonnes per year. This matter is going to be discussed today, which will ensure long-term goals and profitability.
  • Tata Steel has also executed its first digital import transaction using e-Bill of Landing. This will significantly streamline international trades, logistics, and help the company move towards digital era.

Tata Steel Share Price Target

Tata Steel Share is one of the popular stocks on the market, and it has multiple target price suggestions. Jefferies has recently suggested these shares could reach between Rs 180 to Rs 200 by the year-end. S&P Global suggested an average target of Rs 162.57, and FIGW suggests Rs 211 by the end of 2025. Whereas Consensus has suggested Rs 190 for Tata Steel Shares.

Recommendation on Buy or Sell

According to the moneycontrol website, 55% of the share analysts suggest buying. The rest 23% suggest holding, and the remaining 16% suggest selling. On the other hand, Consensus analyst suggests for buying these stocks.
