WheelsEye, a Gurugram-based logistics technology firm, reported operating revenue of about ₹243 crore for the fiscal year ended March 2025 (FY25), driven by rising demand for digital fleet management and logistics solutions across India’s trucking ecosystem.
Business model and services
WheelsEye operates a logistics SaaS platform that links truck owners, fleet operators and businesses. Its offerings include vehicle tracking, FASTag services, fleet management software and enterprise transportation booking, enabling customers to source trucks and manage end-to-end logistics operations.
The company sells hardware such as GPS tracking devices, subscription-based software and transaction fees for bookings, creating multiple revenue streams beyond pure transportation services.
Revenue trajectory and drivers
According to industry tracker Entrackr, the reported ₹243 crore for FY25 represents a gradual uptick over prior years as more fleet operators and shippers adopt digital tools for route optimisation, real-time visibility and compliance. A substantial portion of revenue is generated from freight bookings executed through the platform, while recurring subscriptions for tracking and software add predictable income.
Cost structure and profitability outlook
Despite top-line growth, WheelsEye’s losses remained largely unchanged in FY25. Continued investment in technology infrastructure, product development and geographic expansion has kept operating costs elevated.
Company efforts to rationalise costs and improve unit economics—through higher platform utilisation, churn reduction and upselling of value-added features—suggest a gradual move toward a more balanced business model as digital adoption in the sector rises.
Sector context
India’s logistics industry is undergoing rapid digitisation, driven by regulatory changes, e-invoicing, electronic tolling and growing enterprise demand for transparency and efficiency. Technology-led platforms that combine hardware, software and marketplace functions are positioned to capture greater share of trucking supply chains, provided they can scale while controlling acquisition and servicing costs.
WheelsEye aims to expand its network of truck operators and enterprise customers, deepen its technology stack and strengthen partnerships to capitalise on the broader shift to digital logistics in India.
