KaarTech Raises $11M in Playbook Partners-Led Round to Expand Global Enterprise Tech Solutions

KaarTech, a Chennai-based digital transformation consultancy, has raised $11 million (about ₹100 crore) in a funding round led by Playbook Partners, with participation from existing investor A91 Partners. The infusion underscores continued investor interest in enterprise technology firms that help organisations modernise legacy systems and adopt cloud-native platforms.

Use of funds and strategic aims

The company will deploy the fresh capital to accelerate international expansion, with a focus on North America and Europe. KaarTech plans to bolster its workforce, deepen technology capabilities across SAP-led transformation and cloud services, and pursue strategic acquisitions to broaden its service portfolio.

The round values KaarTech at roughly ₹2,100 crore (about $231 million) on a post-money basis, reflecting sustained revenue growth and rising demand for enterprise digital transformation services across sectors.

Background and service offerings

Founded in 2006 by Maran Nagarajan, Ratnakumar N, Selvakumaran M and Guardian George, KaarTech specialises in SAP-centric digital transformation for large enterprises. Its services span SAP consulting, cloud migration, data analytics, AI and automation, and managed services aimed at improving operational efficiency and accelerating cloud adoption.

The firm serves clients in aviation, energy, government and other industries, with significant operations in the Middle East, North America and Europe. Its prior equity raise in 2023—$30 million from A91 Partners—helped scale delivery capabilities and expand global operations.

Market context

Enterprise demand for cloud-based ERP modernisation and AI-enabled process automation has sustained investor appetite for firms like KaarTech. As organisations increasingly prioritise resilience and digital transformation, consultancies that combine domain expertise with cloud and SAP capabilities are attracting growth capital to fund geographic expansion and capability building.
