Customer onboarding and professional services automation startup Rocketlane has secured $60 million (about ₹564 crore) in a Series C round led by Insight Partners, underscoring investor confidence in AI-driven enterprise SaaS. The fresh capital will accelerate scaling of Nitro, Rocketlane’s agentic AI platform designed to automate execution across professional services workflows.
Nitro and agentic AI: from assistance to execution
Rocketlane says the majority of the funds will be channelled into Nitro, a next‑generation platform that moves beyond traditional assistance tools by employing AI agents that can autonomously execute tasks within end‑to‑end workflows.
These agents are built to handle activities such as project tracking, data migration, documentation, testing and real‑time risk identification, with the stated aim of cutting manual effort and improving delivery predictability for professional services teams.
Early adopters of Nitro have reportedly seen service delivery effort reductions of up to 50%, a metric the company cites to support claims that organisations can scale output without proportional increases in headcount.
Expansion, R&D and go‑to‑market acceleration
Alongside product development, Rocketlane will deploy capital to expand its global footprint and speed up its go‑to‑market initiatives. The company plans significant investment in research and development to deepen Nitro’s AI execution capabilities and broaden its applicability across enterprise use cases.
Rocketlane positions Nitro at a moment when many SaaS firms are transitioning from AI experimentation to outcome‑oriented deployments, aiming to capture demand for platforms that deliver measurable operational improvements.
Background and industry context
Founded in 2020 by Srikrishnan Ganesan, Vignesh Girishankar and Deepak Bala, Rocketlane has scaled by offering a unified platform combining project management, collaboration and financial tracking for services teams.
The Nitro launch signals a strategic shift from workflow management toward automated execution, reflecting a broader industry trend toward agentic AI in the SaaS ecosystem. With this round, Rocketlane’s cumulative funding has surpassed $100 million, positioning the company to influence how enterprises deploy and scale AI‑driven service delivery.
