Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Launched with Exynos 2500 Chip, 50MP Triple Camera and 4900mAh Battery Starting at 799 Euro

Samsung has expanded its Galaxy S26 lineup with the fourth model – the Galaxy S26 Fan Edition. The phone was launched on Thursday in select global markets featuring the Exynos 2500 chipset, a 50MP triple camera setup and a 4900mAh battery. The Galaxy S26 FE will go on sale globally from September 4 with India registrations already open for a September 18 sale.

Display and Design

The Galaxy S26 FE sports a 6.7-inch Full HD Plus Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1900 nits peak brightness. The phone carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It measures 161.6×76.9×7.4mm and weighs approximately 193 grams. The device runs OneUI 9 based on Android 17 and supports dual SIM connectivity.

Processor and Performance

Under the hood, the Galaxy S26 FE is powered by the Exynos 2500 processor built on a 3nm fabrication process. The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB Type-C port. An in-display fingerprint scanner handles security.

Camera System

The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. It is joined by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with 123-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture. An 8-megapixel telephoto lens offers 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom with OIS support. For selfies, the phone packs a 12-megapixel front camera with 85-degree field of view.

Battery and Charging

The Galaxy S26 FE houses a 4900mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Samsung is offering the phone in Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio color options. The base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 799 Euro, roughly Rs 89,000 in India.
