The original Mirzapur web series first premiered in 2018 and became a massive hit. Three seasons have been released so far on the streaming platform. Season 1 was directed by Gurmeet Singh and Karan Anshuman. Season 2 was helmed by Gurmeet Singh and Mihir Desai while Season 3 was directed by Gurmeet Singh and Anand Iyer. The movie version has been directed by Gurmeet Singh himself.
