Redmi TV X RGB-Mini LED
Xiaomi has opened pre-sales in China for the Redmi TV X RGB-Mini LED 2027 Competition Edition. The TV officially goes on sale on October 12, starting at 2,705 yuan (about $400).
RGB backlight and high refresh rate
The TV uses an RGB-Mini LED backlight with separate red, green and blue light sources. Xiaomi says the design cuts overall power consumption by 30%. The panel covers 100% of the BT.2020 colour gamut, has colour accuracy of around ΔE≈2 and reaches up to 1,300 nits peak brightness.

The display has a native 180Hz refresh rate, which rises to 360Hz when Competition Mode is enabled. Its updated nano-soft light screen uses an AG nano-texture to reduce glare and reflections. Xiaomi’s Qingshan Eye Protection feature is designed to make longer viewing sessions easier on the eyes.
Ports, hardware and software
Connectivity includes three HDMI ports, with two HDMI 2.1 ports; HDMI 2 also supports eARC. The TV has two USB ports, one supporting USB 3.0, as well as Ethernet, AV, ATV/DTMB and optical S/PDIF. Wireless features include dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
A five-core Cortex-A55 processor and Mali-G52 GPU power the TV, alongside 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. That is 1GB less RAM than the Redmi TV X 2026. Four speakers deliver a combined 2×15W output. Xiaomi HyperOS 4 adds support for the next-generation Xiao Ai assistant and connection to Xiaomi’s smart home ecosystem.
