Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup Ctruh has secured $2.5 million in seed funding to scale its spatial computing solutions, aiming to make 3D and extended reality experiences more accessible for businesses. Founded in 2022 by Vinay Agastya, the company focuses on browser-first tools that reduce friction in adoption and improve online shopping outcomes.
Funding details and investors
The round was led by Inflection Point Ventures, with Avinya Ventures as co-lead. Additional participation came from India Accelerator, Founder’s Avenue, Anthill Ventures, Finvolve, LVX, and angels including Vivek Sinha and Shivakumar Ganesan. With the latest infusion, Ctruh’s total capital raised stands at $4.5 million.
Products aimed at simplifying 3D and XR
Addressing a key e-commerce challenge—limited product visualisation before purchase—Ctruh has built a browser-based 3D engine that works without app downloads or specialised hardware. Its AI-powered tool, VersaAI, converts images, text and videos into 3D assets within minutes. The company’s flagship platform, Commverse Studio, enables brands to create virtual stores, deploy interactive 3D product views and offer augmented reality try-ons with minimal integration effort.
According to the company, enterprises using its stack have reported up to 90% higher conversion rates, lower return volumes and stronger customer engagement compared to conventional 2D experiences. While such metrics can vary by category and implementation, they reflect growing industry interest in immersive commerce and spatial UX.
Expansion strategy and sector focus
The fresh capital will be used to deepen core technology, enhance creator tools and accelerate product development for verticals such as real estate and automotive—sectors where high-fidelity visualisation can meaningfully influence purchase decisions. Ctruh plans to expand internationally, with sales operations slated to begin in the United States and the United Arab Emirates by 2026.
The startup counts support from major technology ecosystems, including Microsoft, Google, NVIDIA and AWS, through partnerships and platform enablement programmes—an advantage for performance, scalability and developer tooling.
Shark Tank exposure and market traction
Ctruh recently featured on Shark Tank India Season 5, where founder Vinay Agastya pitched the platform. Investors Anupam Mittal and Vineeta Singh committed ₹1 crore for a 2.4% equity stake, subject to due diligence.
The company says it is already working with more than 100 brands across retail, e-commerce, real estate and education. With rising demand for immersive product experiences and the new round of funding, Ctruh is positioning its 3D and XR solutions for broader global adoption.
