Mahindra has officially confirmed the Scorpio N Pickup debut for August 14 this year. The company released a 40-second teaser showcasing the production-ready model in detail. This pickup is based on the 2023 Global Pickup Concept shown at the Futuro event earlier. The teaser gives clear glimpses of exterior styling and interior layout.
Exterior Design Highlights
The teaser reveals slim LED headlamps with L-shaped LED DRLs on both sides. Vertically stacked LED fog lamps sit on both bumper corners for better visibility. The hexagonal grille carries Mahindra twin peaks logo prominently at the center. A front camera suggests 360-degree or 540-degree camera setup for parking aid. Side profile shows double-cab layout with extended rear load bed for cargo. The tailgate features bold Mahindra lettering with C-shaped LED taillamps.
Premium Cabin Features
The interior gets a large portrait-style central touchscreen display for infotainment. A three-spoke steering wheel and digital driver display are included in the cabin. Dual-zone climate control uses rotary knobs for easy temperature adjustment. Drive mode selector is visible on the center console for quick access. Mahindra previously promised Level 2 ADAS and semi-automatic parking features. The concept also featured 5G connectivity and a sunroof option for premium feel.
Powertrain and 4×4 System
The pickup will use a second-generation all-aluminum mHawk diesel engine. Transmission choices include 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options. A 4-wheel drive system will be standard on the vehicle for off-road capability. Four drive modes cover Normal, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Rut and Sand terrains. The wheelbase is longer than Scorpio N for better cargo space and stability.
Launch Timeline
Mahindra will reveal full specifications on August 14 at the official event. The production model stays true to the 2023 concept design language. Indian customers have waited for this lifestyle pickup truck for long. Pricing and booking details will follow the official unveiling event very soon after.
