Technocraft Ventures made a strong stock market debut on Friday, with its shares listing at a 34% premium over the IPO price on the BSE. The infrastructure development company’s impressive listing capped an IPO that was subscribed more than 38 times by eager investors. IPO Listing Performance

Technocraft Ventures shares listed at Rs 285 per share, a 34% premium above the IPO price of Rs 212. The stock continued its upward momentum post-listing, surging over 14% to hit Rs 334.60. This represented a total gain of more than 55% from the IPO price. Investors who secured allotment made over Rs 100 profit per share on the listing day alone, rewarding them for their confidence in the issue.

Market Capitalization and IPO Details

The company’s market capitalization crossed Rs 1,240 crore on the listing day. The IPO, with a total size of Rs 252 crore, opened for subscription on August 7 and closed on August 11. Each lot comprised 70 shares, costing retail investors Rs 14,840 per lot. Investors could bid for a minimum of one lot and a maximum of 13 lots, making the issue accessible to a wide range of participants.

Strong Subscription Numbers

The IPO received an overwhelming overall subscription of 38.69 times the shares on offer. The qualified institutional buyers (QIB) category was subscribed 42.26 times, while non-institutional investors (NII) saw a massive 65.06 times subscription. The retail investors category was subscribed 25.35 times, reflecting strong demand across all investor segments. The high subscription figures highlight the market’s positive outlook on the company’s growth prospects.
