Film production company Sunshine Pictures is set to open its initial public offering on August 18, 2026. The IPO has a total size of Rs 282.14 crore and the company is offering shares in the price band of Rs 342 to Rs 360 apiece.

Sunshine Pictures will issue 48 lakh fresh shares through the IPO. Another 30 lakh shares will be offered through the offer for sale route. The lot size is fixed at 41 shares, requiring a minimum investment of Rs 14,760 from retail investors. The subscription window will close on August 20.
Allotment and Listing Timeline
Share allotment is scheduled for August 21. The company plans to list its shares on BSE and NSE on August 25. GYR Capital Advisors Pvt Ltd has been appointed as the lead manager for the issue. Big Share Services Private Limited will serve as the registrar.
Strong Grey Market Premium
The IPO is trading at a premium of Rs 53 in the grey market. This GMP translates to an estimated listing gain of around 14 percent. The lowest GMP recorded for the issue so far was Rs 17. Among current IPOs in the grey market, Sunshine Pictures holds the strongest position.
Reservation Breakdown
Qualified institutional buyers will get a maximum 50 percent reservation of the issue size. Retail investors have been allocated at least 35 percent of the shares. Non-institutional investors will receive 15 percent reservation.
Financial Performance
Sunshine Pictures reported an EBITDA of Rs 58.54 crore for financial year 2026. The company posted a profit after tax of Rs 40.02 crore during the same period. These numbers reflect a strong financial position ahead of the public issue.
