Royal Enfield is all set to launch the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition in India on August 18, 2026. The special edition bike has already started reaching dealer yards ahead of its debut. It gets a fresh military green paint scheme and exclusive Gorkha Edition graphics.
Military Green Paint and Gorkha Graphics
The biggest change on the Gorkha Edition is its new light military green or olive green paint shade. Royal Enfield has not yet revealed the official name of this colour. The shade looks similar to army vehicle tones and matches the identity of the Gorkha regiment.
The fuel tank and side panels will carry special Gorkha Edition graphics. The side panel gets a traditional crossed kukri logo with Gorkha Edition branding. The fuel tank also receives a unique sticker. The rest of the bike keeps the familiar Classic 350 design.
Features Stay Familiar
The Gorkha Edition will offer the same semi-digital instrument cluster as the current model. It combines an analog speedometer with an LCD display. Wire-spoke wheels, two-piece seats, round mirrors and chrome exhaust details remain unchanged.
This edition will not get the Tripper navigation pod. Royal Enfield recently added an assist and slipper clutch with a USB Type-C fast charging port to dual-channel ABS variants. These features are expected on the Gorkha Edition as well.
Same 349cc J-Series Engine
Mechanically, the bike remains identical to the standard Classic 350. It uses the same 349cc single-cylinder air and oil-cooled J-Series engine. The motor produces 20.2bhp of power and 27Nm of peak torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Suspension and braking hardware carry over from the current model. The bike gets telescopic front forks, twin rear shock absorbers and disc brakes on both wheels. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard equipment.
Price and Delivery
Royal Enfield currently sells the Classic 350 in variants like Heritage Classic, Heritage Premium, Signals, Dark, Classic Chrome and Redditch. The price of the Gorkha Edition will be announced at the launch event on August 18. Deliveries are expected to begin soon after the launch.
