HMD Global has unveiled the Nokia 300 Charge, a feature phone that packs the largest battery ever seen on a Nokia handset. The device comes with a massive 3700mAh battery that delivers up to 40 days of standby time and 37 hours of talk time on a single charge. It also doubles as a power bank for other devices.
Power Bank Feature in a Feature Phone
The Nokia 300 Charge supports 10W reverse charging through its USB Type-C port. Users can press a dedicated Out button on the side to charge compatible phones, earbuds or small USB devices. This makes the phone a handy backup power source in emergency situations.
Classic Design with Basic Hardware
The phone features a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD display with a 320×240 pixel resolution. It retains the classic physical keypad experience that Nokia feature phones are known for. The device focuses on calling and basic usage rather than entertainment or high-end apps.
Under the hood, the Nokia 300 Charge runs on a Unisoc SC6531E processor paired with 4MB of RAM and 4MB of internal storage. Users can expand storage up to 32GB via a microSD card. The phone operates on the S30+ operating system.
Camera, Torch and Connectivity
A QVGA rear camera is included for basic photography. The phone also features a high-power LED torch that HMD claims is four times brighter than the torch on the Nokia 105. This makes it useful for navigating dark areas or during power cuts.
For connectivity, the Nokia 300 Charge supports 2G networks on 900MHz and 1800MHz GSM bands. It comes with dual Mini SIM slots. The device weighs approximately 138 grams and is available in Green, Sandstone and Black color options.
Price and Availability
The Nokia 300 Charge has been launched in the Philippines at a price of 2,190 Philippine Pesos, which converts to roughly Rs 3,637 in Indian currency. HMD has listed the phone on its global website but has not announced an official India launch date yet. For now, sales are confirmed only in the Philippines.
