According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Toxic has already crossed the Rs 15 crore mark in advance bookings. The Hindi version of the film has contributed nearly Rs 8 crore in pre-sales, with the figure now approaching Rs 11 crore. Including block seats, the total advance collection stands at an impressive Rs 32.52 crore across all languages. The film is releasing in over 4,000 screens nationwide and in multiple Indian languages.
Karnataka Leads the Charge
In Yash’s home market of Karnataka, the film dominates advance bookings with block seats helping the state cross Rs 15 crore alone. Premium theatres in Mumbai and Bengaluru are selling tickets at rates as high as Rs 2,250 per seat. The massive demand has driven up prices across multiple cities. Fans in smaller towns have also booked bulk seats for opening weekend shows.
KGF 2 Record Still Untouched
Yash’s previous film KGF Chapter 2 had set an almost impossible benchmark for advance sales. That film earned over Rs 31 crore gross on its opening day across India, with the Hindi version alone netting Rs 25 to 27 crore. Before its release on April 14, KGF 2 had already sold over 10 million tickets nationwide. The film went on to become one of the highest grossing Indian films ever at the box office.
